Hello and happy new year! Every time a new year starts, you hear people saying things about "wow, where did 2010 go? I remember when we just turned the new millennium." Seriously, remember all the hype? Banks were going to close....people were stock piling food and water...
and I just had my son, who now is a 4th grader and absolutely loving Mrs. Steele and everyone at TPS. We are so lucky to be part of such and awesome school.
So while I'm feeling so appreciative I want to acknowledge this amazing team I get to be a part of...PATS. Everyone is plugged in for all the right reasons, our children, and the betterment of our school. We have accomplished so many great things this year already, and still have a few more tricks up our sleeves!
In the meantime, we still need your help. Get involved with your child's school. It really is rewarding. My favorite line on the video above is "its amazing how much a team can accomplish when it doesn't matter who gets the credit"
We have a meeting tonight, 1/11/11 and we meet every month on the second Tuesday. Read your emails from the school! They are loaded with valuable information on how to get involved at TPS. Tonight I get to share the exciting numbers from our fundraising efforts so far this year.
I can't say thank you enough to those who have stepped up to the plate! We'd be lost without you.
