Sharing the love

We were so fortunate to receive wonderful thank you's from much of the staff this week after Teacher Appreciation Week.  Take a minute to see how appreciated and cherished  PATS is. 

Dear PATS Leadership,

On behalf of the entire staff, I want to thank you for your incredible effort this week in letting everyone that works at TPS know they are appreciated, you have made this week of school extra-special!

Yesterday's international feast was incredible! It was so good to walk out and see our teachers sitting together in the shade eating lunch and to be able to sit down with them for a few minutes. That is a rare opportunity for me personally, and I really appreciated it. 

I want to underscore how important your work is for the school and I also want you to know that it is recognized. This entire week I have had staff asking me if I knew how much you were doing for them, and asking me if I knew what a great support you are compared to other school's parent groups. Due to my lack of experience with other schools, I don't -- but I do know that your efforts are greatly responsible for us being a distinguished school now.

Thank you for being an outstanding example of excellent service. The fact that you do not get paid to be here as long as we are here and work just as hard is very humbling for us all.

My wife and son are on an actual right now, so the cruise theme and wonderful food made me feel like I wasn't missing out as much:) Thanks for all the support over the year, and the nice teacher treats!! I also want you to know that I shared the success of your organization and leadership at a Point Loma Nazarene Univerity Administrative Leadership meeting a few weeks ago.  It was so much fun to brag about the great things you continue to do for our school.  Thank you for making one of our hardest weeks (May is always CRAZY) very enjoyable!

I know that the thank you notes have been flooding in regarding your thoughtful deeds this past week; but, I just wanted to take a moment to add another "thank you" to the pile. Your time and hard work have provided such special and genuine gifts to the staff at TPS. The espresso bar on Monday was the perfect way to kick-off the week. (The extra caffeine is always a treat). And I know that everyone truly enjoyed the delicious lunch yesterday and were more than grateful to have had the chance to simply savor the moments by sharing lunch with co-workers that we haven’t seen in months.  Again, thank you for everything you have done. It is much appreciated and extremely generous. We are extremely blessed to have such a strong and thoughtful support group at TPS.  You guys are awesome!

Hello, everyone,

I know you are receiving many wonderful emails thanking you.  You deserve that and so much more.  I speak from the bottom of my heart and with no exaggeration when I tell you how appreciative I am for all of you and how grateful I am, and that I thank God for you wonderful and selfless ladies every single day. 

There is absolutely no way that TPS would be what it is without you.  You are a constant inspiration to me.  Teaching is a difficult job but you all truly make it easier.  You let us know we are important to you, you let us know we are appreciated, you let us know you are here to help us every day, day in and day out.  It doesn't matter the weather, the time of year, no matter how tired you are - you are always here for us.  That commitment and dedication is not to be taken for granted - the school is blessed by your caring hearts and so am I. 

I hope you know how grateful we are, what a fantastic job you do, and how much it helps the most important people at the school:  the kids.  No other school has a parent group that even comes close to our PATS.  We are so, so blessed by you.Thank you so much. Sincerely,

I just wanted to say THANK YOU for everything that you have done this year.

 I remember when my mom came home with her PATS t-shirt when my brother was a senior in high school. She told me she purchased the shirt because she loved this school and wanted to support the group that was supporting the school. At the time I did not even think about what PATS was doing, but not that I work here I can see just how amazing you guys are! You have helped me and my middle school students in so many ways. 

Thank you for everything that you do. It does not go unnoticed.

I have worked at several other schools in the past, most of which had dynamic PTA's, but I have to say, none of them compare to what you do day after day after day.  I'm continually amazed at how many fundraisers and events you sponsor, many of them simultaneously. I know it is an unpaid full-time job for many of you.
